In 1965, a few ladies of Saint Catherine's Catholic Church of Valley City, ND, had an idea. They were looking for a way to support their school, parish and community, and decided a consignment/donation store would be a great way to do just that.
Almost 50 years later, the Nearly Nu continues to offer an eclectic mix of vintage, new & used items such as clothing, pottery, jewelry, art, furniture, antiques, collectibles & much more. With thousands of new items added each month, there’s always something exciting and different, and at a fraction of the cost of new. As one customer recently responded when asked what he was looking for at the Nu, “I never really know until I see it here in the store."
