Lies & Bullis, Attorneys at Law, was founded in 1983 when partner Steven Lies opened his own law firm, after spending ten years practicing in Wahpeton. Lies, a former North Dakota Deputy Secretary of State, and his office staff of one full-time and one part-time secretary moved into their newly constructed building at 610 Second Avenue North, Wahpeton. At the time, Lies Law Firm shared the office building with McDougall Realty.
